As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of certified journeymen to gain hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems. We prioritize safety and technical growth, providing a clear path to journeyman certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment and wiring to ensure safety compliance.
- Install and connect wiring, fixtures, and electrical devices according to local codes and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- No prior professional experience required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of math and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.
