What You'll Do:
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Learn to identify and use a wide variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine tasks such as digging trenches, pulling wire, and mounting electrical boxes.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Study blueprints and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding progress and issues.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to obtain a Florida Electrical Contractor license upon completion of apprenticeship.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
