Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including running conduit and stripping wires, under strict supervision.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all job sites adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and load/unload materials efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensure and certifications upon hiring.
- A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn the trade.
