Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Learn pipe fitting, drain cleaning, fixture repair, and water heater troubleshooting
- Adhere to safety protocols and building codes while on job sites
- Prepare work areas, clean job sites, and maintain tool inventory
- Document work performed and assist with customer service interactions
- Participate in ongoing technical training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Philadelphia
- Basic hand tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
- Willingness to learn plumbing systems and local regulations
