Responsibilities
- Assist journeymen plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Perform basic pipefitting, threading, and soldering under strict supervision.
- Ensure all work sites are cleaned up and safety protocols are followed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Develop knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations in Illinois.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand or kneel for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and follow strict safety guidelines.
