Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers with residential and commercial installation and repair projects.
- Learn to identify and repair leaks, unclog drains, and install water heaters under supervision.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and code specifications.
- Perform basic site preparation, including excavation and trenching.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Handle inventory management for tools, parts, and materials.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding job progress and service needs.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required—we are looking for eager learners willing to get their hands dirty.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
