Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints and technical schematics.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and fitting under supervision.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and comply with safety regulations.
- Identify and report necessary materials and tools to supervisors.
- Respond to emergency service calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and time sheets for payroll.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn a trade and a positive attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation is preferred.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
