What You Will Do
As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the supervision of licensed journeyman plumbers to learn the trade from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems.
- Transport tools and materials to job sites and return them to the shop.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and soldering under supervision.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
- Interact with customers to explain issues and provide updates on service.
- Complete daily time sheets and job reports accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Willingness to obtain a Michigan Journeyman Plumber license.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physically fit to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in tight spaces.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements.
