Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with residential and commercial pipe installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and local plumbing codes.
- Prepare job sites by gathering materials, cutting pipes, and ensuring a clean workspace.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely under direct supervision.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain services and answer questions.
- Transport tools and materials to job sites using company vehicles.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety regulations (OSHA).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces, on ladders, or in extreme weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
