Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites efficiently.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Learn to read blueprints and understand local plumbing codes.
- Perform basic tasks such as pipe cutting, threading, and soldering under direct supervision.
- Communicate effectively with customers and answer basic inquiries regarding service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in tight, confined spaces.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Strong desire to learn a skilled trade and commitment to safety.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
