Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) and hand tools with precision
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material handling and installations
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read blueprints and follow technical specifications for project compliance
- Perform concrete work, framing, and finish carpentry as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction experience in skilled trades
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment (saws, drills, etc.)
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement calculation skills
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
