Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Load/un construction materials and maintain clean work zones
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Perform heavy lifting, carrying, and manual labor tasks
- Assist in setting up temporary structures and scaffolding
- Report equipment issues and maintain tool inventory
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or manual labor experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Drug-free workplace - pre-employment screening required
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
