Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, trenching, and material handling
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with installation and assembly work
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Transport materials and equipment using forklifts or manual methods
- Perform quality checks and report maintenance needs on tools/equipment
- Collaborate with crew leads to meet project deadlines and specifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
