Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and securing materials
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and equipment operation
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
- Maintain safe work environments by adhering to OSHA guidelines and company protocols
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (training provided)
- Complete daily cleanup and site maintenance tasks
- Document project progress and report issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Team player with excellent communication skills
