Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) with OSHA compliance
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing
- Inspect and maintain tools/equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Document daily progress and material usage for reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Experience with power tools (saws, drills, sanders)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
