Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers, etc.)
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other skilled trades on-site
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Transport materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean record
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Baltimore metro area
