Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Operate hand/power tools, forklifts, and construction machinery safely
- Perform concrete work, demolition, and finishing tasks as directed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Report maintenance issues and equipment malfunctions promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexible schedule availability including overtime and weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
