Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and earthwork with precision
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) safely and efficiently
- Install/assemble structural components, scaffolding, and safety barriers
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces following OSHA standards
- Assist skilled trades with material handling and equipment operation
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with crews to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety protocols
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Colorado Springs
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed
