Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on active construction sites
- Safely load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and remove debris per OSHA standards
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Support site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and trenching
- Assist in erecting temporary structures and scaffolding
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train all new hires!
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Basic math skills for material measurement
- Team player with positive attitude
- Pass pre-employment physical examination
