Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Follow blueprints, safety protocols, and project specifications
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and manage material inventory
- Adapt to changing project demands and weather conditions
- Report progress and issues to site supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Team-oriented attitude with effective communication skills
