Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate and maintain hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely
- Assist skilled trades with material installation and structural assembly
- Perform concrete work (pouring, finishing, formwork setup)
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Conduct daily equipment checks and site cleanup
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years verifiable construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and layout
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Experience with scaffolding and fall protection systems preferred
