Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with specialized construction activities
- Operate heavy equipment safely (forklifts, excavators, etc.) with proper certifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise project execution
- Load/unload construction materials and tools efficiently
- Collaborate with crew members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction or labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to operate basic hand/power tools and heavy machinery
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Nashville metro
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods
