Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and installations.
- Perform site preparation, including excavation, backfilling, and leveling.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site in strict accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Operate basic construction equipment under supervision (e.g., skid steer, generators).
- Perform minor cutting, drilling, and fastening as required by the foreman.
- Ensure all safety gear is worn at all times during operations.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs).
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights when necessary.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices (OSHA 10/30 preferred but not required).
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
