Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and tradesmen with material handling, site prep, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding tasks
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for tardiness
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain focus
- Commitment to weekly work schedule (Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm)
