Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and finish work
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material preparation and site preparation
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, sanders) and hand tools
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Flexibility to work varied hours including overtime and weekends
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
