Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and directing equipment
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, mixing, and installation tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain job site cleanliness
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure task accuracy
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing operations
- Document daily progress and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
