Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling per blueprints
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, excavators, and power tools
- Install/assemble structural components, scaffolding, and safety systems
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with OSHA-compliant protocols
- Perform concrete work, demolition, and finish carpentry tasks
- Collaborate with cross-trade teams on complex construction phases
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience required
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Maryland driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with power tools and construction machinery
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
