Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, drills) under supervision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Assist skilled tradespersons with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing tasks
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards to site supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for tardiness
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
