Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment safely
- Read blueprints and follow precise instructions from site supervisors
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material staging
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and math measurement skills
- Strong attention to safety detail and team collaboration
- Pre-employment drug screening required
