Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with precision and safety protocols
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete pouring, and finish work
- Inspect and maintain tools/equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Document daily progress and material usage for project reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and heavy machinery operation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
