Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and installation
- Maintain job site cleanliness and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and interpret construction specifications
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Participate in scaffold assembly and dismantling
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction experience or trade school certificate
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
