Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance and promote workplace safety protocols
- Load/unload equipment and materials using proper lifting techniques
- Perform concrete work, framing support, and finish carpentry tasks
- Assist in equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid O-10 or OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Ability to pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime
