Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate power tools safely and maintain equipment according to OSHA standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other skilled trades professionals
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety protocols
- Assist in material handling, inventory management, and waste disposal
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience in commercial/residential settings
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, levels, etc.)
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow complex instructions
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Local Milwaukee residency preferred
