Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and directing traffic
- Load/unload materials and operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) safely
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with tasks like measuring and cutting materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Perform general site cleanup and waste management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (will train if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
