Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and demolition tasks using hand/power tools
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness standards
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Operate machinery like forklifts, excavators, and concrete saws (training provided)
- Maintain accurate inventory of construction materials and supplies
- Participate in emergency weather response for site protection
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-paid)
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Comfortable working in outdoor/variable weather conditions
- Team player with strong communication abilities
- Prior construction experience preferred but not required
- Must have own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.)
