Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and establishing safety barriers
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, excavation, and scaffolding assembly
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment according to OSHA standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications for task execution
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Load/unload construction materials and verify inventory accuracy
- Perform basic site maintenance and cleanup operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction site experience or equivalent training
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong attention to safety and detail-oriented mindset
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
