Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and operate forklifts with training
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and minor excavation tasks
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for task execution
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Willingness to pass mandatory pre-employment drug screening
