Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with project-specific duties
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) following OSHA standards
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal
- Inspect and report equipment/safety hazards to supervisors
- Adhere to project blueprints and construction schedules
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Background check and drug screen required
