Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project tasks
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, safety protocols, and project specifications
- Operate light equipment (concrete saws, jackhammers, drills) as required
- Maintain inventory of tools and materials, reporting shortages to supervisors
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard prevention protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
