Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, loading/unloading, and equipment operation
- Maintain clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant job sites
- Read blueprints and follow precise instructions from project supervisors
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely and effectively
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Perform quality checks to ensure work meets safety and building standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across LA County
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
