Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing and preparing construction sites by digging, grading, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operational Support: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision to complete tasks.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Assisting Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople as needed to ensure project milestones are met.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor, lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or labor is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid US work authorization and ID.
- Reliability: A track record of showing up on time and working well within a team structure.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow workers.
- Driving: A valid driver's license and clean driving record are a plus.
