Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials at the job site.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and power tools under supervision.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Measurements: Accurately measure, cut, and prepare lumber and other materials.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times.
- Physical Labor: Perform heavy lifting, digging, and general site preparation work.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- License: Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Math: Basic math skills for reading measurements and blueprints.
- Weather: Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Teamwork: Strong communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus but not mandatory.
