Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and hand tools safely under the direction of a supervisor.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Support Crew: Provide essential support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople.
- Measurement: Assist in measuring and cutting materials to ensure accurate project specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long hours, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and willing to work overtime as needed.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions clearly and communicate effectively with the team.
