Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment on job sites efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, jackhammers, and pressure washers under supervision.
- Assistance: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with various tasks as needed.
- Site Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Documentation: Help with basic site paperwork and timekeeping.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and standing/walking on various surfaces.
- Reliability: Punctual, hardworking, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation to commute to multiple job sites.
- Experience: Prior construction experience is a plus, but willing to train motivated candidates.
- Safety First: Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols is preferred.
