Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload materials and operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with task-specific duties
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work environments
- Read blueprints and verbally communicate project requirements to supervisors
- Perform site cleanup and waste management per environmental standards
- Adapt to changing schedules and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimates
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Experience with concrete, framing, or demolition preferred
- Pass background/drug screening
- Own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, gloves)
