Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools safely
- Assist skilled tradesmen with excavation, demolition, and site preparation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) under supervision
- Report safety hazards and maintain compliance with protocols
- Complete daily timesheets and coordinate with site supervisors
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Fort Worth area
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
