Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks following OSHA standards
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) with precision
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and layout work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal protocols
- Complete daily safety inspections and equipment checks
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Adapt to changing project schedules and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification required
- Class B CDL or forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Tampa Bay
