Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, levels) and power equipment
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and follow safety protocols
- Load/un construction materials and debris removal
- Read basic blueprints and follow supervisor instructions
- Perform general site cleanup and hazardous waste disposal
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox talks
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA 10 preferred)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours with minimal breaks
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
