Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and follow OSHA safety protocols
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project tasks
- Transport materials and equipment using forklifts or dollies
- Complete daily progress reports and quality checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Class B CDL preferred (not required)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Miami
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Basic math skills for material calculations
