Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with project preparation and cleanup
- Maintain organized job sites by sorting materials and removing debris
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Operate light machinery (e.g., concrete mixers, jackhammers) with proper training
- Complete daily progress reports and time documentation for accurate payment
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous outdoor work
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
